The recorded owner may request changes on the Registration Certificate, such as home address, the horse's coat color, true white markings, name change, gelding date, or to add a microchip number. Additional information such as DNA coat color typing may be requested at the owner's expense. Appropriate fee is included. Upon approval an amended Certificate of Registration shall be reissued to the owner.
Change Documenttion
For all changes the original Certificate of Registration must be returned with all of the changes clearly written on it. This applies to the owner's name or address change, gelding date, and microchip number.
Horses names may be changed after registration if the horse has no progeny.
Changes in the coat color or true white markings also require completing the Change of Color Application and clear, discernable color photographs of the horse showing full views of the left, right, front and rear. All markings must be visible. Additional information such as DNA coat color typing may be requested.
