The MHR requires that all applying Foundation Moriesian breeding stock and all second and subsequent generation Moriesians be genotyped.

The most common Moriesian tests are The Horse Color Panel, Red Factor & Agouti, and Silver Dilution.

Friesian Health Panelincludes tests for Hydrocephalus, Dwarfism and Distichiasis. $85
Morgan genetic disorders include PSSM1 and and MCOA. $55 for the first, $75 for both.

A Stallion Report is required from the stallion owner covering the year in which the horse was conceived. If the stallion is a listed Breeding stallion, an email from the owner suffices.

To transfer ownership of a registered horse:
1. The recorded owner submits a completed and signed Transfer Application, or
2. The new owner includes a signed Bill of Sale.
3. The new owner must become a member.

This covers any Registration Certificate changes, such as the horse's name or color change, white markings, gelding date, owner's address change, added microchip number, or duplicate certificate. The following applies to changes:

Register your breeding farm name to have its exclusive use on all your registered foals. Names can be used before or after the horse’s registered name. Each breeder can only register one Prefix.

Advertise your Moriesian, Friesian, and Morgan stallions available for breeding in the Stallion listing page. Photos and videos may be added or changed any time.

List your Moriesian Breeding Farm on the MHR website to advertise your business and promote the Moriesian breed. Photos and videos may be added or changed at any time.

The MHR Annual Awards Program is available to registered Moriesians and members who are competing against other breeds in In Hand, Performance, Dressage, and Combined Training.

The Moriesian Miles Program recognizes those who are putting 'miles' (hours) on their Moriesians in non-competitive events like pleasure riding and driving, lessons, clinics and public events.
