The Registry has two divisions of equal parentage and a three-quarter division: 1. First Generation 'F' (Foundation). This division applies to any Moriesian resulting from a Friesian and Morgan cross. 2. Moriesian 'M' Horse Registration This division applies to the foal or horse from a Moriesian sire and Moriesian dam. 3. Three Quarter Moriesian This division applies to the foal or horse from a Moriesian and either Morgan or Friesian cross. Horses must not exceed 75% and have less than %25 Friesian or Morgan bloodlines.
A horse is eligible for registration with the MHR if:
1. The offspring results from a purebred Friesian to purebred Morgan cross.
2. Both Sire and Dam of the offspring are registered Moriesians.
3. The offspring results from a Moriesian to either a purebred Friesian or Morgan.
Cost: Within 12 months of foaling: $40 (Check) // $42 (Card) After 12 months of foaling: $60 (Check) // $62.5 (card)
A. Membership Application – $30 one-time fee - when registering your first horse. B. Completed Registration Application information and outlined white markings on the diagram. C. Application for DNA typing for breeding stock (mares and stallions) and all second and subsequent generation Moriesians to prove parentage. $55 D. A stallion Report, completed by the stallion owner/lessee, covering the year in which the horse was conceived. E. A copy of the Registration Certificate and Pedigree papers for both the sire and dam. F. Two photos: one taken from the side to show full body conformation, and one of the front of the face.
